SCRIVEN DOMINATES HEDNESFORD TRIP
The Tarmac Weekend Took Place this weekend
At Birmingham and Hednesford with Many of
the Sports Biggest Names Struggling with the
New Tyres Birmingham Started with around 48
Cars in Attendance enough for a 2/3rds Meeting , 152 Neil Scothern was on hand to
take heat 1 ' It was my first win in the car '
we have not even tested it so we will take that
196 Murray Jones won heat 2 in an action packed race , Murray Said he was delighted
' Last Season Todd was really good round Birmingham and all tarmac tracks' we werent
as good' so what we did in the winter is build a
new engine , ' and we struggled at skegness'
even tho we were quick ' but the car flew in that one ' and im over the moon' 105 Chris Bonner won the consolation , chris was delighted as his fine start to the season continued ' we are really up for it this year '
we couldnt believe how well we went at belle vue ' and we are really up for this year the i flew
in that one , we had a flat in the heat but ill
take that in the Consolation 207 Ben Hurdman
won the final ' Usually its top names in the sport that win ' but tonight us lower graders
have done well ' the track is very difficult with
no grip at all' but its my first career final ' and
im proud to break my duck '
150 Mick Sworder 2016 World Champion won
the grand national, we had the practice but the
gearbox wasnt right , we struggled so we spent
3 hours stripping the car and putting it right
and we won that so im proud ,
a day later at Hednesford it was all about Michael Scriven the hednesford track specialist
Danny Wainman won heat 1 taking the lead
from 84 Tom Harris with 2 laps to go ' the tyres
have been much better today' we all struggled
at Birmingham last night , but they were much better today , its so fast around hednesford,
so you have to be on your game ,
12 Michael Scriven won heat 2 & Final & Grand National , Michael Is a Track Specialist around Hednesford ' We were told about the new tyres
this weekend and to be honest, i thought we wouldnt go aswell as we usual do round here,
last night we got 4th in the heat 3rd in the final
and today the car just flew, from the lap handicap we just raced like we usually do and
we won , Im now top of the points so we are
guaranteed a semi which am glad About ,
Hednesford is such an amazing track
